Where's my Teacher's Helper?
Teacher's Helper is now Teaching God's World News. If you've received God's World News for your family or classroom in the past, then you are familiar with the Teacher's Helper, the teaching guide that supplemented your GWN newspaper. Now that each GWN issue is a large monthly magazine, a small, printed flyer just isn't enough! This year, you'll find all the same helpful story background information, biblical perspective, and quizzes you've come to expect from Teacher's Helper—only now in an expanded online format as well as sprinkled throughout your 30-38 page monthly magazines. How do I download pdf documents?
Before you can access any of the pdf documents on GWNews.com you must first log in. Once you have logged in, simply find the item you want to download and click on the link. In most browsers the document will display in a separate window after downloading. If you are a Mac user with the Safari browser, you may need to Ctrl + Click (or right-click) the link and select "Download linked file" on the pop-up menu. Your document will download to your designated folder (depending on your computer settings; usually your desktop) and you can open it using Preview.
The length of time it takes to download a document depends on the size of the file and the speed of your internet connection. Downloading larger files (5 MB and above) can take several minutes even on a high-speed connection. Occasionally, if your connection is slow, the download will "time out" and you will see the message "This document has been closed by Acrobat. Press the refresh button to reload" displayed in the bottom bar of the page. Refreshing the page should enable the document to complete downloading.
If you experience difficulties downloading files, please make sure you are using the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat. (Click
here to upgrade.) If these suggestions do not answer your question, please contact
customer service for more assistance.
