Taking Off (2nd - 3rd Grade)

 

Good news for kids!

Taking Off is the second level of our monthly current-events magazines, written for students in 2nd and 3rd grades to help them build a biblical worldview. As with all of our GWN publications, Taking Off emphasizes News, Knowledge, Wisdom, and Action. In addition, Taking Off focuses on specific skills for students ages 7 to 9:

• Age appropriate stories that introduce young students to the concept that our merciful and sovereign God is active in the world.
• MAP-IT! locator maps correspond with a full-sized (20"x30") world map sent to each class or homeschool.
• Creative puzzles to build alphabet, number, sequence, and other skills.

Each subscription order includes

• School year subscriptions for students include 7 big, full-color, monthly issues (Sept. — April).
• Full year subscription includes 10 big, full-color, monthly issues (every month except Dec & May). We provide extra content in Nov and Apr issues to satisfy your kids in the "off" months.
• 28 pages per issue, filled with age-appropriate news and activities.
